well a bit more done over past few days, dropped everything off at powder coaters so thats a bit more outsourcing done!!
adapted screen wash bottle bracket to hold my new battery (didnt want to drill into the chassis)
i think my rad may have had a little leak!
gave it a quick clean
this was the first time i removed the front clam and i have to say its very easy compared to a vx
as you can see i have lightweight race arch liners, so have ordered some new ones. (yes you can still buy them new )
trial fitted the seats
cometic head gasket turned up
rich actually made a start..
ooops here is a photo of the head..... Plus found out i killed 3 pistons!!! what do i win?!!

Even for a second hand one? Whats too much? Seems the perfect time to do, would it really not be be worth it?

Yea, money is the killer in our car projects. I'm thankful every time I get in mine and it keeps going... one day my engine will die though. *gulp*
