Nothing concrete, but we're getting closer. We're still working on it, just sourcing the right kind of material for the front plate - prototype looked great lit up but just looked black in daytime without the backlight. More news soon... Cheers!

Nothing concrete, but we're getting closer. We're still working on it, just sourcing the right kind of material for the front plate - prototype looked great lit up but just looked black in daytime without the backlight. More news soon... Cheers!

Believe me, I'm as keen as the rest of you to get this going. But it's not as simple as it might seem, need to find the right materials to make it work properly. Also, my son is the one doing it, and he's just had a burst appendix so he's off the radar for a bit. Don't worry, it's still live, just needs to be investigated properly and fitted round other life events, you know..

Not sure we can source a Lotus one and he's already bought one from another car to reverse engineer the materials. Thanks GiGo. It's a bigger recovery than he imagined, only now starting to do the odd bit of work from home rather than go in to work. Seems there might be some complications so it may be longer still. He's keen to get it done if only for the achievement but time is the enemy. We're still on it so please bear with us folks. 😊
