I caught up with Scott today, they are making good progress. Large batch ready for the bodyshop soon. They are hoping to start sending orders out mid MayWith the above in mind - do they have thoughts on lead times? Weeks or months or?

Thanks, much appreciated 👍I've sent him a text for you and he said he'll look into the order. I suspect he'll be in touch soon with an updateAnybody had any contact with UC recently? I ordered some sills from them (prior to the group buy unfortunately) back in Feb and after receiving a recipe from them, I asked them to delay it by a couple of weeks while I was away for work. Been home for a month now but had no reply to any of my emails asking for an update.

Would be nice (and professional...) to provide at least a receipt of the payment...

This is great for UC, they've got themselves a free secretary.

You hear about companies taking orders then going bust.
Use a credit card instead

the credit card option wasn't offered, just a bank transfer. it would be more prudent to make a CC transaction

Credit card isn't currently an option as they do not have that facility (I did ask). They are looking to getting it but not yet available. However you can pay via PayPal through your credit card. If you want to do that drop me a PM and I'll send you their details. Also as per my previous post they will confirm payment and send a receipt if you PM me your email address. @rizo9 it was the terms of the GB, its equally a big leap of faith for a small company to manufacture over £17k worth of goods without some form of commitment.I'd rather pay by debit card when the goods are ready to be dispatched. Transferring money into an unknown account with no confirmation from the company. You hear about companies taking orders then going bust.
