Hi Andy, I'm keeping UC in the loop on our group buy and although short term he had a backlog, he felt confident he would have caught up by the end of March. He's also going to try and make a start on the list so he's not keeping everyone waiting excessivelyI'm toying with a few bits. What would the lead time likely be? I'm conscious that the orders are stocking up, will he be able to cope with demand? Cheers Andy

Well done mate. Postage on what I was looking at was £50 and the extra you got on the sills is £13 so another £63 saved.Update on sills & postage... As we have achieved orders over £5k, Scott is looking at increasing the discount on sills to 20% however that would be the best he can offer. Purely due to the amount of material and labour involved on making these. Also if we achieve orders over £10k he will provide us with free postage to mainland UK

What do you reckon the chances of making 10k are?
I am procrastinating over the sills at the moment.

I wasn't sure we'd hit £5k but we have! If Chris P Duck gets his order in we'll be just under £7k with a few weeks to go, stretch but not impossible. I think there's still a few 'umming arghing' but if your going to go for it, time is now as 30% discount is a cracking deal! As for the sills we've really squeezed him on these, doubt we'll ever see them cheaper... (and they look awesome)What do you reckon the chances of making 10k are? If only they made the NA sills with the equivalent of the usable turdo pocket, instead of the useless shallow NA pocket.

It looks the nuts, doesn't it?
How hard wearing is it?

Yes. This. Would actually be a really top mod.
And I promised myself 30% discount or I wouldn't.....

Mate the two and have turbo pocket re-trimmed by DTT? I've got rid of my carbon sills but principle remains - buy carbon turbo sills, buy turbo pockets and job doneIf only they made the NA sills with the equivalent of the usable turdo pocket, instead of the useless shallow NA pocket.

Mating of NAs and Turbos is against nature.
Why did you get rid of CF sills? Was it a bit overkill or did they blemish easily?

Honestly? I'm not a fan of carbon on the inside of cars generally. I only bought them from joe on a job lot to make his life easier, and I got the turbo pockets In the deal. If it was me, I would protect them with venture shield etc - or at the very least ensure they are waxed to within an inch of their life to lessen scratchesMating of NAs and Turbos is against nature. Scratched my drivers sill (gloss finish) the first day I fitted it when I dragged my foot over it. Covered it in leather a week later (which was the plan anyway).
