Demon Tweeks did a good price a while back admittedly on a group buy but might be worth a try

Just bought a single wheel (TD1.2)

Either Seriously Lotus or Demon Tweaks (16/17")

Think Seriously Lotus were slightly cheaper, and they also have the option for 7.5 F / 9" R on their website..

could try calling call rimstock andy williams on 01215256500 , that was the last group buy £394 when I ordered mine (october 2011), I just changed the rears to wider 9J "Just spoken to Andy about 17x9J option and offsets Confirmed, can order just rears without fronts, in 17x9J and offset of choice and colour of choice. Price is £97.50 per wheel , plus vat , plus delivery"

You'll need a minimum 10 or 11J wheel for that sort of tyre width.. Even then you might struggle if you're going to fit relatively low-profile, stiff-side wall track tyres..

Although I'd be surprised a semi-slick in something like 275 width on a 9J rim wasn't perfectly adequate for your sort of power..

315 seems vast overkill on a sticky tyre with such a light car..

315mm rears is a wise choice I think. I only have 285 and when they are hot the grip is immense (though not infinite, as they can spin up in the dry in 3rd gear with 450 ft/lb). However, I think you'll find the car far more sensitive to camber changes in the surface of the road. Also remember to factor in the reduced sidewall "give", as I find my springs (450f/600r) quite harsh now.

However 315 will be terrible in the wet, you'd need much narrower to carve the standing water apart and get higher pressure ratio onto the track. Swings and roundabouts as usual, unless you buy several sets of wheels.

If I were buying more wheels I'd opt for 19 or 20 inchers for the bigger footprint - could you squeeze these in? However, this would make the car less nimble for twisty stuff... swings and roundabouts...

I made a custom order to get all round 17" TD 1.2's with different widths front and back in Satin black from Competition Wheels online who do the ebay ads you see for VX220 TD's similar to below:

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4634df2077

I contacted them through ebay and they gave me a number to call and discuss the specifics. At the end of the day the wheels were still manufactured and supplied by Rimstock however Competition wheels online atleast allowed me to customise my order with the specific wheel sizes, paint colour and the price wasn't too bad either (I think roughly £700)

Pretty sure the title in your thread is asking for Team dynamics. It would be more useful if you gave enough information in your first post. I'll try and not be so helpful in the future.

In fairness to Darron though he didn't actually mention he wanted them for the Vx all he was asking was for where to get them in a bigger size.

I think given the query was in the Tuning and Modifications section of a VX220 forum, the assumption they are to fit a VX220 was a fair one..

Otherwise the Other Models section might have been more appropriate :)

No harm done..
