I've just been thrown a massive curve ball by my employers so the VX absolutely has to go. This car is known on here, it was owned by Ryan. I'm hoping some people will back me up when I say he was very particular about keeping the car perfect and it really shows when you start looking around it.

Here is the spec:

2003
46,500 miles
Work carried out in the past 4,000 miles:
SC conversion with pro-alloy charge cooling system fitted by Joe and Vocky. Mapped by courtney 242BHP.
Pro alloy rad.
AP Racing 4 pot calipers, RC5+ pads on the front, RC6 on the rear.
Piper manifold with Miltek cat and exhaust (MOT friendly).
Nitron single way dampers with geo carried out by SCS in Norton Kanes, suspension fully re-bushed last year.
Compomotive "Speedylikey" alloys with R888 tyres.
11 stamps in the service book with an extra oil change carried out by me.
Timing chain replaced last year.
Interior professionally re-trimmed in alcantara with carbon fibre door cards and dash.
I'm sure there is more, I'd need to go through the multitude of receipts to get all the info.

Unlike a lot of VX220's mine has no rattles, there is no paint blistering, it has no "niggles", the roof doesn't leak, it is fairly quiet (unless under full throttle), the seat bolster isn't worn, the abs works. It has spent most of it's life in a garage and shows very few signs of age. It has had in the region of 9 grand spent on it in maintenance and upgrades in the past 5 years. It is a fantastic car, I'm genuinely gutted that it has to go.

At the moment it only has a months MOT but I will be MOT'ing it in the 23rd March, then it will have 13 months ticket.

£12,999 ono (because 12,999 sounds soooo much cheaper than 13,000 :) )

I've recently fitted a splitter, I've only got one pic with it fitted (sorry but it is a bit naff):

Sorry but I've run out of time, I'll post more pics when I get a chance. Drop me a PM if interested.

Regards, Pete.

As much as I hate people saying how good a car is or any post on for sale threads . . . . When Ryan owned it, body wise it was probably one of the best vx's out there! Can't believe its only covered 4k since the SC conversion as that must of been at least 2 if not 3 years ago? (I'm not saying the op is lying I just can't believe it). Not seen it since Pete owned it I'm afraid but I'm aware it's not been too long.

Thanks for the kind words every one, I must say that I'm not in love with the idea of parting with this car but needs must. The conversion was carried out in june 2011 at 39572 so my figures are slightly out on that one. It has done 6900 miles since the conversion. I'm sure these chargers are good for much MUCH more mileage than that.

I've double checked the rest of the info in the post and it is correct. It is amazing how well we know each others cars on this forum! :)

I can vouch for my old Milltek system. Miss the relative peace and quiet, still. :D

Slight correction to my first post, the dampers are in fact Nitron NTR's. I thought they were just standard street series.

I'm in the military so my life kind of revolves around my job, the VX will definitely have to go. Thanks for the kind offer. :grouphug:

I'll be back in a couple of years, these crappy little plastic cars are quite addictive. :D

Probably a bit cheap to be honest. I've certainly not lost any money on it and I've loved owning it so it is win win for me.
