REIS declined any new VX business due to the number of people binning their cars and the size of the claims. They still take Lotus business though. Make of that what you will, even it flies in the face of Sizten's CCI stats.

Sadly REIS were far from competitive for me....and CCI slightly better than that.

1answer and Henderson Taylor were the best priced.

same I will be switching from commuting to sd&p due to change in circumstances.

for the agreed value , is it just photos , or receipts etc

also thinking about putting the VX back to just 200 bhp , stage 0, for road use , only takes 4 mins with the laptop.

At least I don't have to count how many miles I've done and stop using the car when the limit looms. :P

Unless the sight out of my fcuked eye improves, I might be facing a driving ban anyway. :(

Why? Do you have poor vision in the other eye already?

Thought I'd put my 2p worth into this thread.

Received my renewal from Classic line at £537 (£63 cheaper than last year).

Called CCI for a quote which came in at £370

Called Henderson who offered £285 (although without breakdown cover the other 2 include). Did a quick look on line and can get annual breakdown for around £19 but also need EU breakdown, so for single trip is another £25. Brings the total to £329, which is still cheaper than the others.

Think Henderson will be getting my business next month too! :-)

Another thumbsup for Henderson Taylor

Those robbing cnts at Flux quoted me almost £400 quid, NO trackdays and that was with 3k restricted miles.

Bang on £300 quid :D

Now, lets see what Tim@Prestige can do with that figure.................

Spoke to Matt at Henderson Taylor yesterday. Great to deal with but came out slightly more expensive for me than ClassicLine. ClassicLine at £243 including full UK and European Breakdown cover is a better deal for me because I don't track. Henderson Taylor quoted £253 but no breakdown cover.

Another one on the band wagon, shocked by the price difference, very similar cover except no breakdown but unlimited domestic and European track days. CL now allow 6 free track days but will charge £200 for each euro event. As I'm already booked for two euro's, it's a no brainier. Plus Matt's is a top bloke thumbsup thumbsup ClassicLine £673.67 with £350 excess Henderson Taylor £432.53 with £250 excess Edit to say it would have been around £100 cheaper still if I hadn't put commuting on!!!
