The only downside I can see is with the agreed value part. 6 pictures (fine) and a club or expert valuation (or words to that effect). With Flux they just sent off your pics and the underwriter agreed the value for an extra 15 quid iiirc. Siztenboots asked the question earlier in the thread about this - Matt was clear that it's the valuation he wants. So how has everyone else done that to fully comply, or have they left it to the dreaded "market value"?

Hmm... Didn't mention doing that for the agreed value on the phone. Might ping and email across.

Probably best to do that. I emailed him today and he said he needed a valuation report.

Taken a policy yesterday. The track day insurance was the winner for me...under £300 fully comp, stage 4, etc...

No idea, they didn't seem interested in what power it had.

mine would be about same, but I pushed it up with the commuting and extra mileage , just shy of £400, CL wanted £356 for 5000 miles.

Do we need to get Jonny boy to do our agreed values ??

Nothing was said to me about getting proof for agreed values but I see it is on the 'classic care - statement of fact' form.

Apparently i need to return this within 2 weeks. It also says we need car club membership number but we don't really have one do we? VX.org isn't really a club!!!

So it says:

An agreed value is subject to our acceptance of a recognised independent or expert club valuation and six recent colour photographs of your vehicle.

Has anyone else done this?

I've sent mine back today Sent 6 pictures I assume if there is still a issue I will have to pay for a valuation of some sort It's actually the same insurer as classic line ( red star something or a other )

I just emailed and said £16k because that's what similar cars are going for. The evidence is in the cars for sale threads ? He's not come back.
