Fans on the OEM cars come on at 108 if I recall correctly.
Possible to change this parameter with the Dutch ECU to something more reasonable.

Hi nightrider,
Good guide on here somewhere on how to fit a fan overide by earthing one of the cables that passes down the centre console. Useful when stuck in traffic on hot days to keep the temp down and ease your paranoia of a cooked engine.

... and 106 shouldn't hurt it, should it? Mine will hit that on a hot day in traffic - the fans kick in and turn off again at 99 (I think). I certainly don't worry about it.

Absolutely. I twitched a little the first few times the temp hit 106, but there are never any issues. It's no K series is it?... and 106 shouldn't hurt it, should it? Mine will hit that on a hot day in traffic - the fans kick in and turn off again at 99 (I think). I certainly don't worry about it.

I hit 110 today in traffic for first time ever. I DID NOT hear a fan kick in.... time to investigate me thinks!?
Are the fans on a fused supply?

130 degree C is pretty hot Bargi, you should consider the fan override switch (easy mod) so you can pre-emptivly switch it on.
