Hi all, 

 

Recently bought a Europa blue N/A and have a very tatty grey gear gaiter which has basically fallen to pieces and is currently held in with blue tac. 

 

Has anyone got a replacement? Not too fussy on type or colour as frankly anything is better than the current one. 

After market versions dont seem to come with the frame attached to give it shape to fit centre console and as mine is buggered I'll be needing a gaiter with one of those.

Have a look at the offerings from 'topgaiters' on eBay. They'll do you a nice blue stitched black leather one for about a tenner. I think they list one especially for the VX but if not one intended for a Golf or any other in the standard cone shape should fit fine with the bottom trimmed down. You don't need the plastic surround to secure it you can glue / clamp it around the lip from underneath to keep it held in shape. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edit: beaten to it above.

My plastic peice broke so I managed to source a brand new oem one. Wasnt cheap.
