Cheers, think it will last well, fuel cap and surround will be the one to watch I think but if it goes it will just peel off

The surround and v look great - I did mine in plastidip a while back and it's still looking good. Not sure on the filler cap with plastidip tho, I swerved doing that as it comes off too easily - interested to see how that holds up to some wear. Wheels really need changing now you've done this. Good work tho thumbsup

Thanks...... agree re fuel cap, but nothing ventured and all that, got a tin of clear gloss coming which will hopefully shine the bits up a bit and almost act like a rubber lacquer which will help, wheels will be done as well, not sure whether in plasti dip or just buy a kit off ebay, proper gloss black spray paint

Probably the hardest bit, I just masked around the outside edges but the bits inside the vauxhall badge and in between the vx220 lettering just sprayed, it literally does just peel off so any excess I used a craft knife and scored and peeled

I'd be wary of doing stuff like the wheels tbh - they look fckin awful after a few drives/washes and if you have even a mild ocd for things being decent then it'll drive you barmy. Less hassle to just get your ones dipped/sprayed/powdercoated
