I need a new wiper blade.....and before Slindy comes on ..no im not being a fanny ;)

See images below.

Ive been to Halfaaards, Europarts and a couple of industrial unit traders as well but none have a replacement

The Wipers on the car are 24 inch Valeo manufactuer, but not a "click in" joint but as the image shows a phillips head screw and more of a bayonet slide on.

I dont want to have to replace the full arm but have searched high and low without success

A cigar to someone who can point me in the right direction.....many thanks...H

You are being a fanny:   http://www.vx220.org...12-wiper-blade/

It's an Elise S1 wiper arm / part. As mentioned, 3 courses of action, either: Buy an Elise S1/Vx220 wiper blade Or For roughly the same cost, buy and Elise S2 wiper arm and fit a generic blade. Or Bodge job a new piece of rubber in. If you go for option 2, the blade will be pennies to replace next time around. Personally, both our cars have s2 arms on them.

As other have said though, cheaper and better in the long run to replace the whole arm.

I'll claim a second pint for the quality advice.

Or http://www.elisepart...ase=Wiper blade Jet wash system works well at getting water on the screen (if you have the correct fitting for the arm)

I'm probably going to be the sole NPC rep on the Hoon.  Happy to fit it but you're living dangerously feeding me three pints and sharing a room.

The truck master blade will do the trick. Has a jet wash built in and costs £9.92 inc vat from euro parts :)

Except it doesn't fit that style of wiper arm and needs the arm upgrading first.

I got the Elise parts wiper arm with sprayer and the blade was sh*t so ended up having to buy a new one. Makes life so much easier to get blades in the future.

...and so I can thankfully state this topic is officially closed..

..it was concluded with the cheapest fix possible, I bought a 26 inch wiper blade (rubber only), gently forced the clips open at one end on the wiper on car,

...carefully slid the worn one off, and carefully slid the new one in position ensuring the end clip was in position.

...Clamped the clips up again, cut off about 2 inches from the new blade and hey presto....

...all for the price of £3. 40p  (and there were two blades in the pack!)...and wait for it just 3 minutes work.....too fast even for a video guide..

...simple........

...even for HH....  :)
