Hi guys, been away for a few days. Sorry to hear about breakages, could you send me pics of damage please. It would be good to know if there is a weak point either with the product or the packing so it can be sorted for future grills. Superglue will work for repairs or the plastics guys can send out a syringe of the stuff they use, not sure what it is called (I will find out) but it evaporates, so needs to be used quickly.

Looking very good Dunc6!

Ive just opened mine from the bubble, and a piece is also broke off, its the biggest piece on the end, its happened during transit as it was inside the packaging, I cant see how this would glue back on and be secure due to the small amount of contact area, surely it would break back off with vibrations when driving the car, ill put a couple of pics up...

Fitted mine in 5 minutes, once I worked it all out. Touches the Clam a bit so the 4th ones up bend up slightly, in a wry smile. Looks awesome though. Good Job Mate.

Ok, there are only 2 options regarding the broken grills:

Option 1: Attempt glueing using glue sent out by plastics guys

Option 2: Replacement grill

There is no way of replacing just the one part that has broken because the whole thing is glued together. Please let me know what you would like to do.

Good job Hazy, funny how some fowl and some don't.

What about some thinner L shaped brackets to reinforce the glue on the bottom, where it can't be seen?

FYI I may need some of that glue as some of the joints may need a little more. 😉

I'm happy to pin & glue mine, it's not fundamental to the design - I'm not even sure you'd notice it gone even with the other side left on.

I have a load of poly cement, or can super glue it. If the guys think that the glue they have would be much better for the job then I'd definitely prefer to get some of that.

I will send glue out to you both, when it arrives use it as soon as you can as it will evaporate. I will also add some instructions as apparently there is a technique to getting the best out of it.

Was there any damage to the box when it arrived for either of you?

No damage to the box, think it's just from where it has been moved about as I'm sure the grill was pretty much corner to corner in the box
