VXR36 is regretfully being offered for sale.

This lovely car in red has c67,620 miles and all paperwork of work done. I have owned the car since new.

 

This car is being sold with the following enhancements:-

Thorney curved rear spoiler

Pro Alloy larger fuel tank

Pro Alloy Radiator

Rear diffusers

Black engine cover

Front splitter

Racelogic traction control system

Quaife limited slip diff

Helix clutch

Nitron 1 way adjustable shocks

AP big brake kit

3” Tubular exhaust

Charge cooler

Auxiliary fuel pump and swirl pot

Uprated hosing and pipework

Balancer shafts deletion

Adjustable Wash/wipe controller

Engine rebuild to replace Thorney parts with new VXR parts including K06 turbo, large plenum, oil catch rods and other modern Astra VXR components. Currently running 330BHP

MOT until November 2015

 

Recent invoices include:

Engine rebuild (June 2014 (£6953.83)

Full overhaul of joints, bushes and shocks in 2013 (£857.09)

Nitron adjustable shocks last serviced amongst other parts (2011 £3431.84)

Beautiful car and a cracking price. I don't have that kind of money at the moment but given its a single owner car, it's this time of year and there's no others about, I reckon you'd easily bag £20k+ for this. Do some digging as to what others have gone for. You've a rare machine here. Don't undervalue it.

Also, if we're talking about the same bit, I'd say you have a standard plenum, not a large one. Do you mean the black block secured to the inlet manifold by 4 bolts? Looks standard to me.

Okay just went to find you some links and everything similar Has actually gone for a similar price. Still, yours has some merits and being the only one for sale in the UK, I'd have thought you could command a bit more for it.

One sold for 16 recently and another was advertised at 18 so It looks to be about right. If I had the space I'd probably buy it and sell mine!

Probably too many miles for the vxr wanters ( dreamers ). If i was after a vx again this would be in my garage like a shot.

just seen your car on pistonheads wow 17k too cheap,  not far off from many stage 4 cars@ that price, please bump up the price to 19.5 so that i dont get tempted :0)

I can't imagine another car to put a smile on my face as much as this car did every journey. End of an fantastic 11 year era. Sold yesterday.
