It says 5/8" at the cooler end and 1/2" at the filter housing, but both fittings on the ends of the hose i have are the same lol
I'll buy both 😊

AFAIK it's 1/2"BSP on the ends of the oil hoses on the original setup.
There are however adapters/inserts fitted to both the original Setrab cooler and the oil takeoff to bring their 'native' connections to 1/2"BSP.
Before reusing the oil hoses, check their condition though. Seen a few which had started to 'sweat' quite a bit and had gone hard/brittle so needed replacement. Not strange.. Simply the rubber hoses aging.

Aaaaaarrggghhhhhhh!! 
this is the vx job that keeps on giving.
Got the oil pipe adapters sorted (thanks Arno), went to fit it last night and found that the water pipe push on fittings are different on each end of the original Setrab cooler. So the new one still doesn't fit.
If there is an adapter for this kind of thing, would I be creating a point of weakness by using it?
If Mocal could change one fitting to a smaller size for me (they're bolted on), do you think that would cause any issues with pressure/performance? I'd assume it would be Ok seeing as the Setrab one is like that?
Or would I be better trying ANOTHER 2nd hand Setrab cooler than trying to shoehorn this Mocal one in?
