At these cheap prices it tempting to buy another.. sTrange pricing at the moment. Prices of good getting very strong, others just a little tatty go for a steal.

I bought it in the end. As with many things it started with a bid on ebay after having a few beers...  

To be honest I should have waited and picked up one of the well sorted sc'd cars that go for around 12-13k. When you add up all the mods they have done to them, and the fact they are normally very well cared for, it doesn't really make much sense to buy a cheap well used one and modify it.  

But I like a bit of a project, and it means I can do everything exactly how I want it. Plan is to iron out the little issues before winter and then next year do a carlimits day, a few trackdays and generally get out and use it. Then next winter do a complete suspension/steering refresh.
