I'm sure there's a local coachtrimmer to Cambridge that would be more than up to the job of fixing it for less than £100. The guy I used in Bedford to totally retrim my interior has retired and buggered off back to Italy, unfortunately.

:( You mean Tony? Small place in a narrow residential street. He was v v reasonable! Shame.

Yup. T'is a shame as I'd have had a new job for him. Have heard of another local place but no experience of them to know whether to risk it.

He was proper old school thumbsup

Have you got something not too important to test the new place with?

Why would anyone on here? Given it means new hubs and new brake discs in order to fit them.

So my first bits turned up - harness, driveshaft and dust cover.

Did anyone else buy a dust cover? Just wondering if you got a Vx220 branded cover or an Opel Speedster one? Frankly it doesn't matter, especially for the cost, but I'm just curious if they were sending both out and it was luck of the draw what you got?

Quite a few dutch/belgians bouht one.

Could be worth to swap if many got a wrong one?

Mine reads speedster on the external grey bag. (i asume it will be the same on the beige?) I have not opened it yet.

All are speedster branded, inside and out, seemingly. As I said I don't really mind as it's just a well-priced fitted cover to me

Seems like if it's Speedster branded on the outside bag then it's Opel / Speedster branded on the cover.

Some info about the wiring loom.

I bought one thinking it'd have the engine loom as part of the bundle, however it's the front to back loom only. :(

It contains all the fuses but none of the relays. It appears to have been stored in a large poly bag, and although it's been sitting in a storeroom for the last 10 years, all the cabling and tesa tape still feels like it's just been assembled.
