Alarms are a good buy bearing in mind they have two fobs included

Anyone know if it is possible to reprogram these fobs to my existing alarm? Or would I have to replace the main unit too?

You would need the red card with the 16 digit code on. Then you can get key fobs paired with your alarm, or you have to send the unit off to have it re programed at £99 with 2 fobs included http://abacuscaralar...71dcb81a781726f

You can reprogramme a non working keyfob yourself as long as you have a keyfob that works with your alarm.

Thanks Kenni. I just found the following post from 2009. Will buy one of these kits and give it a shot.

From Abacus:

Quote

META Remote Control PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS Meta Programming Instructions for Random Encrypted Remotes (16 digit code - Not M999T) And for earlier motorcycle alarms such as the 351 & 355  Programming 16 digit Single Button Remotes You will need one working remote to program a new remote into the system. This remote must be enabled by a dealer with a 16 digit code which is supplied on a plastic card, without this code the alarm brain will have to be sent back to be reprogrammed. Arm and disarm the alarm sixteen times or until the alarm stops responding, alarm now in program mode..... Once in program mode press the button of the new remotes(s), press the button of the original remote(s). This must be done within 8 seconds of each action. If 8 seconds pass without any actions the alarm will automatically exit programming mode and you will have to start from step 1.  Wait 8 seconds to exit learning mode.  Test remotes.

Just purchased the last set of red seats (to replace some good condition blacks)... after querying the condition and stocks some of the posts have changed but not been refreshed to the top of the "newest" list

Might be worth checking back if anyone was after seats...

At 24 quid posted it's not bad for new mats.  I could put up with odd embroidery for that price.
