I'm thinking of following suit, how much would a watertight but faded blue top be worth you reckon? I Need to budget the cost to change.Just bought a nice, brand spanking new soft top. Which is great, because my old one was starting to fall apart. Perfect timing.
In good nick, at least £100 I would have thought? People have successfully dyed them black, too.

Advertised prices of 2nd hand soft tops are normally well north of £100. Given that eliseshop sell soft tops for £800 plus VAT, the ones here are a bargain. http://www.elisepart...rt-s2-soft-top/In good nick, at least £100 I would have thought? People have successfully dyed them black, too.

With the factory hardtops are any other parts required or does it clip straight into the softtop fixings?
Some old NA's have a softtop only version of where the part in the rollbar. (left)
You can replace it for a later version (cheap) with room for the hardtop clip to latch under. (right)

They seem like a bargain but unfortunately blue softtops just don't look right on any colour and I suspect will he harder to sell on as a result. I bought a blue one as a spare a few years back thinking it would look good against the Coral blue. But I've rarely used it as it just doesn't suit the car. So I suspect they won't fetch as much as other colours would if they're sold on.Sold out now

Agree I loved my blue hood. Seem to recall that the options price was daft money on the original invoice (several hundred quid over just a plain black one).Bargainacious, those blue soft tops. They were a crazy price as a factory option when new. Good result getting the bag and the two new roof spars as well. I love my blue soft top (even if I didn't realise it was until Thorney told me one day
). I've got a black one as well and it looks nowhere near as good on the car.
