Hmmmm.  There's a lot of thinking going on here.  What I'm after is a definitive answer as to the difference between NA and turbo shocks/spring ratings, as I'm in the market for new suspension all round.  Couldn't find that definitive answer using search unfortunately.

To the best if my knowledge shocks are the same on both front springs are the same rears are stronger on a turbo

I'm hearing you Chris.  But as the dampers on this site don't have springs on them for the turbo version, I'd like to know what springs I need to factor in.  Specifically, what were the spring ratings on the original turbo setup, as this is my preferred setup.

There was a definitive table on the www.vx220.org site that Jonnyboy ran for a while, but it looks like he pulled that site down.

I do however seem to recall the data was on the Mark Verbuse  Verboom webpage... give me a min.

Sorry... It would appear that he only listed the specs of the NA shockers and springs:

So the turbo shockers (assuming the damper specs are the same as NA) spring rates are 275 front and 315 rear.  I don't seem to be able to identify spring rates on the elise parts site for the exige or toyota springs?

I can't find the original post from a quick search on here and this is really testing my memory now, but 12 years or so ago Stu Harris of Vauxhall posted the change in spring and damper rates on the turbo around the time is was launched. I recall and increase of 10% (spring rate) and 17% (damper rate) front and rear. But not 100% sure. If I have time later I'll do a Google search for the post.

I had both cars for about 6 months, and the turbo dampers are definitely uprated compared with the NA on the front. Very noticeable when driving on a bumpy motorway. Better damped at high speed but a bit more springy on slower bumps, if that makes sense.

Yup, they are current Evora fit. thumbsup I bought a set of the Evora 18/19 forged wheels, they'll be my trackday wheels now. Need to get a set of AD08s sorted.
