Body work suffering from osmosis all over, would need stripping back completely and wrapping or painting, that's the first few grand. The bodywork looks as if it is just dirty. Electrics and get the engine running then it's be ok. Wont be any worse than the water damage on Scottish VXs by going through 1 winter.

track car only...
it would have to be re-vin'ed to get back on the road, I don't even know if that is possible

Bit difficult if the DVLA have on record that it has been crushed. There is something fishy about this, and I am not trying to chuck a pun in here... I just couldn't think of an alternative word.track car only... it would have to be re-vin'ed to get back on the road, I don't even know if that is possible

Cheers I will pass this info onto him. As he is leaning towards something he can use on the road as well now, I think it will rule this one out.Just looked this car up, it was recorded as Cat B in December 2013, it's also been reported to have been crushed. Oh & it was Cat D in 2008 too!

but there is a way of registering it as a new car, like a kit car. I don't know if that is viable?
In the end though a CAT B VX220 is not worth 6k
