I've got at a essay long of problems with pictures that goes into great detail of my car which I haven't posted yet. The reason being I was hoping to recoup some money back from Dan and then il call it quits. He calls this black mailing but I've had to spend more money to fix problems which didn't need fixing and to name a few my wheels that didn't have a single stone chip on now have chips on most of the wheels and is it fair that I had to fix this when the car was suppose to be in the hands of a professional? Cut through my clutch line and bodge repair it which cost me again to sort and no mention of you doing it. The worse for me is when I could of lost my life from something so simple as tightening my wheels nuts. The thing with me is I'm very anal and ocd about my car, so I know every single nut and bolt and if something has been changed. Put it this way I've took two days off work to clean my car from top to bottom and that's including the suspension area plus I have over 6000 photos of pictures of just my car. So I know if there's been damaged done to my car that wasn't there before. I just don't think it's very professional if you can't see what problems and extra cost to me when I was only asking for a quarter of the cost back of what I paid.Roadboy what where your issues with Haggi? He hasn't released any info yet!!

Now who's talking "bollocks" when customers are taking you to court and another one comes out of the wood work unsatisfied that requires payment for damage to his car. It seems there could be a special coach with unsatisfied customers going to visit you. I have a lot of friends in the small VX/Lotus community and yes I do hear things and as they say "There is no smoke without fire".Wow! Just been pointed to this thread! Usual bunch of internet experts who haven't got a clue about me or the situation! Yes, Malcolm tried to falsely claim over £1100 from me, suddenly denying all knowledge of prior conversations about existing damage/paint defects to his car. As he would not be the slightest bit reasonable and as I was not prepared to give him money he wasn't due from me, it went to county court where he lied several times to the judge and managed to get awarded under £600 of the £1100 he was claiming from me. Interesting that he called me a serial liar when I'm the only one who has been honest throughout this. Malcolm now has his ill-gotten gains so I'm sure he'll be a happy boy. VX220BOB, you certainly seem to "hear" a lot of things about me. Lots of nice unsubstantiated gossip that is, in reality, just bollocks. Oh and as for the original point of this thread, I have been selling parts to Lotus owners for 10 years now and out of thousands of transactions there are maybe 15 unhappy customers who always seem to pop back up to jump on the bandwagon and shout a lot whereas the many many happy customers are quietly getting on with their lives. That's just the way it goes. Anyway, I've explained the situation so I'm off. Have fun. Dan

Best just to wait and see now. Iv'e got my parts back , and if the cheque does'nt clear i can be at his work place in 2 mins from mine, or at his house in 10 mins.
Do you know if the cheque cleared yet?

Did a bit of research. Certainly a marmite person. If the reviews are anything to go by it seems the closer you get to the present the less satisfied the customers.

Haggi's clutch line.
Even Crabash recommended him once.

The cheque was drawn on his wife's account and according to the bank today, it's clear.

um... wonder why he is using his wifes account!? No doubt he has transferred all assets etc... to her so that any court action or anything that comes his way he can turn around and say "I have no money, if you sue I will have to declare bankruptcy"
Common tactic in this world unfortunately, I know a bloke who has done this kind of thing 3 times in the last 10 years!

More internet experts who know nothing and make assumptions. It is a joint account and her chequebook was the one I found first. You lot really do make yourselves look very silly with all these assumptions and conspiracy theories. Anyway, sorry to disappoint but no popcorn will be required here. I refuse to get drawn into an argument on an Internet forum, regardless of how many lies are told about me. There's no winners from that. I shall just carry on looking after my hundreds of happy customers and leave you guys to do what you do best. Dan

Please accept my apologies, that assumption should not of been made, I imagine you will accept the fact that many people do transfer money to spouses when the 'sh*t hits the fan', like I said I know people who have done just that, more than once.
The assumption, however, would of been made by the many, I am sure you will understand with a number of 'our' community being unhappy with your service/products and with a bunch of evidence from what I would call a well respected and long term member you can hardly expect people not to comment.
I wish you all the best and I do really hope that the customers that are happy with your service stay happy and that you resolve all your outstanding disputes honestly and fairly, it appears at the moment (with at least one person on here) you have
