After the demise of the trackdaylist site, I just stumbled across http://www.motorspor...com/track-days/ Handy site for finding a trackday at a particular venue or something available on a particular date.

It has also restored some sanity for me. I was going to do a LOT day at Blyton in September but it seems to have vanished with no mention about it anywhere. I see it is listed on this site so I guess it was a provisional date which LOT cancelled.

Here is another good one:

http://www.on-track.co.uk/

I like on this you can search several tracks at once. Useful if you are trying to do double headers.

Thing I have noticed is these sites come along every year but when the next years dates come out the owner has lost interest.

Hi All, (hopefully this doesn't upset the administrator)

I run the www.MotorsportDays.com website and just seen this post.

Not a plug of the business as such but to answer the last question on people giving up, I have done this for 5 years. It's hard to spread the word about us as we don't have a huge marketing budget but getting there as I have a passion about racing and showcasing all track days as I too found it hard when I used to race. It's very difficult to get all the dates but generally we have them all. We have all organisers across Europe personally giving them to us or updating on a daily basis but we are human and every so often a few do get missed but not many.

In next week's newsletter (which we send out every week) we have a competition to celebrate our 5 years where we are giving away over 20 track days organisers so make sure you keep an eye out for that.

But, if any of you want a chat about track days or any suggestions on what we can do better, we are open for a chat.

Also, don't forget to see our magazines full of track guides and interviews here

All the best
