You will need to remove the old front upper shock mounts and replace with the ones Nitron sent you. The standard ones are too narrow and the shock body will foul them.
You should duralc between the mount and the chassis at this point as well, just because you have it apart. Also new bolts between the chassis and the upper mount would be worthwhile and cheap. They're a PITA to do up. Then you should be good to fit the shocks!

The wife is away this weekend so I'd say pop round and I'll fit them for you but you're quite far away. The setup will be down to personal preference but you can adjust them easily. The ride height will be what you want to get set first, try and dial them all in to the same height prior to fitting.

Had mine fitted and set up with a geo yesterday, front 8 clicks, rears 12 clicks as recommended by MIke at Sports Car Services. Car feels tight and planted with no bouncing or crashing, wasn't expecting the ride to be so good from oem but pleasantly surprised.
From hard or soft?

Not sure what mine are set up to, but think il do that at some point, as the front seems a little bouncy, so il have a look and see what its set up to

Mine, from full hard is f11/r12... may soften it up a little ... how many clicks in total on NSS?

I run mine at 12 from full soft at the back and 4 from full soft on the front. On track I go up to 16 from full soft at the back, but I only add a couple of clicks at the front. My theory is that all of the weight is high up at the back, so getting that under control is important. You can only use the front to help control this if you have an uprated anti-roll bar, which I don't yet have. Firming up the front excessively just makes it harsh, but with little or no benefit.

Matt Bentley Racing at Kimbolton if you can get hold of him 😁Did manage to fit the nitrons a couple of weekends ago but would now need to do a geo setup, so wanted to know where it can be done in Bedfordshire, living close to Bedford so anyplace in a reasonable distance. Also if anybody is interested in the old bilsteins, one rear was leaking badly, fronts still look ok

I have no idea what Nitron's I have, (No receipt when installed), but i have the eibach springs, and just counted and have 25 clicks total on the fronts. Front Pax side was 7 clicks from soft, and front Drivers side was 3 clicks from soft. Is this normal practice to couteract the weight of the driver?

Doesn't sound right.. Someone may have set the suspension up to account for the drivers weight (called corner weighting) but this is usually done with suspension alignment only, not damper settings (AFAIK).
Plus that's probably quite a noticable difference in setting, and if anything you'd expect the stiffer setting to be on the driver's side (if it was set up that way).
Wind them both back to soft, and start again with equal settings..

Kind of what I thought Rosssco, il start from scratch, though car is off the road for the winter now,and just thought id see what the settings were before taking bits apart etc. Car did seem a little bouncy on the front end, so was hoping to get rid of that at some point next year. I thought the car handles pretty well as it was, but im finding lots of areas for improvement, not just in the dampers

They might have set them 'clicks from full hard' rather than 'clicks from full soft'
