Hey all, Looking to get a Bluetooth obd2 device. Thinking about this one as it has an on/off switch so I can leave it plugged in. Anyone used this with an iPhone? It states iPhone in the heading but the description only mentions android compatability. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/181808528487 Main thing I'm after is a recommendation on iPhone apps. Are any worth actually buying or do they all give pretty much the same level of data/customisation?

I think only Bluetooth ones Apple approved will work unless jailbreak. Wifi ones will work. The Bluetooth ones that work are steep have a look on the Harry's lap timer site

I used Dash Comand on my iPhone, at £8 it is quite expensive when you add in the lead but it does have an interface where you see the inputs working in real time (minus a slight lag) which is useful for checking MAF and Lambda readings. That was using a wifi device though rather than a bluetooth one. I'd recommend getting a wifi one so it can run on iOS and android as well as on PC/Mac.

Probably does not help but I use ODBLink for my Andriod phone, no idea if there is an iPhone version?
