These are already plated.  I did them when I refreshed my suspension but I now have nitron mounts.  The ABS side one is new, never used but it's one from Gaz not an OEM one.  I'll look them out.  If you don't hear anything pester me as I'll have forgotten.   ETA: new oem ones are about 16 quid a side and come plated if I can't find them.

Thanks. Any way of telling if I have standard ones or lowered ones? Judging by the state of them, id guess they are standard.

Well iv unearthed some more fantastic workmanship! See if you can spot the issue
This is the drivers side rear lower wishbone area, from behind the car. The bolts hold the bracket in place for the tie rod.
Posted Image

This is the passenger side, admittedly iv removed the bolt. And there is the clue
Posted Image

Not seen it? The passenger side bracket was only held in by one screw/bolt, where as the drivers one has 3. Surely this is not normal!

Also managed to get the heater diverter duct out, in several pieces. So will be cleaning this all up, and sealing everything to help the heater situation.

Im guessing you mean a little OTT with the painting? I hate things looking shabby, especially when they can be pulled off and put back easily. Iv removed the ABS mounting bracket also, and will be painting that up at some point. Ok, maybe its getting a little obsessive....

ABS mounting bracket is also fairly cheap new and comes plated.  I know this because I have a new one to go on.  I'm of the same mind as you. :)

The AV mounts for the chassis are not though! Best part of £10 each! Does the bracket come with the AV locators fitted? These pop inside the bracket. The £10 ones are the ones that mount the bracket to the chassis.

It is becoming a little obsessive, but it should all look good at the end, if it all goes back together.

Someone found a cheap source on here recently, might be worth a search.  I bought new from lotus and paid the premium

Slow progress this morning, with the initial plan, replace the fuel tank. Well that was never going to happen in 3hours! Lol
Got the shearplate off, and cleaned that up, didnt come up too bad.

Also, removed the brackets that the FWD leg of the RLWB and the handbrake cable bolts to. Couple of the bolts were a little awkward as black cylinder,(charge cooler?) was mostly in the way. All off and painted silver now. Though i may paint them black to match other bits on the car. Cant decide if the silver is too bling.

Looking good and I like the sliver with brackets. How are you refurbing the parts so quick? Do you have a sand blaster or are they sanded and prepped by hand?

Media blasted, and just painted with VHT exhaust paint. Im not lacquering them after, the paint is chemical resistant anyway, and i like the slightly matt look of the black. Not so sure on the silver, i may do one of the above mounts in black, and see what it looks like in situ.

That's the one, excuse my ignorance, of course the charge cooler is at the front. Long day, and some alcohol consumed

Well, it was slightly more difficult after not being able to get the fuel return clip off, as as having a jubilee clip in a position that held the tank up by itself, but its finally out. New vs old
Posted Image

As i was never intending to replace the tank this year, id left a rather large amount of fuel in the car, over half a tank, which id forgotten about, so that added some 'excitement'

Small update, the new tank is in, and all wired up and plumbed in. Just need some fuel in it at some point. Going to start putting things back together soon. Got some mesh to cover the intakes in the crash box, and i need to seal up a new (to me) heater from Vocky. Also got some more bits to order, like the diverter panel for the heater, which was busted on mine.
