Firthy, Your driving looks fine, if anything you had a touch of oversteer at the limit. However, oversteer/understeer only rears its head when you're driving beyond the optimal slip angle. Your car appears to be good through the corners, but how do you know it couldn't be even better through the corners with a different setup?

I don't know, but how do you know you couldn't go quicker??? you don't even use a data logger....

As a comparison....Zoo beef (Mark) has a very stiff setup and was in the 2.23's at Snetterton the main difference between us is tire compound Federal Rsr vs myself running on Avons.

Power should be exactly the same...... That's 7 seconds a lap slower.

Snett 300 in 2:16's?

where do I start!

Honestly, really?

Last time I did Snett 300 in a VX, I did 3 laps,  2:03 was the time.

Never done the 300 in an NA VX, but I suspect I could better 2:16...

Mmm...I'm not trying to compare my lap times, they're of no interest to me. You however, are comparing yourself to another car & driver, therefore it is totally pointless! What should be of interest to you is how your times have improved through the corners from your last setup (I presume the 1" ARB upgrade)

Also, If you put Randy or Scuffers in your car, they would make you look like a total amateur! So what would that comparison say?

...say what you're going to say, I've never asked you not to. When others put forward a comment that you don't agree with, then offer constructive criticism or yes, you should shut up!

P.S I also have a vbox lite system, but haven't used it for several Trackdays. Would you like me to next time so that you can prove a point?

Well lets be honest..... my car feels faster isn't proof! Oh and yes I am comparing my times...

Also, If you put Randy or Scuffers in your car, they would make you look like a total amateur! So what would that comparison say? - It would be a very useful bench mark.

When others put forward a comment that you don't agree with, then offer constructive criticism or yes, you should shut up!

Remember I haven't once said my setup is better than yours, I'm just putting forward my opinion.

If I did please enlighten me.

Firthy, If you're so interested in my times (which is sad!) just go to YouTube & bring up a couple of my videos of Snetterton 300. Play them side by side & come back & let us all know what you're professional opinion is! ...Yes, of course Randy & Scuffers would make me look like an amateur too if they drove my car. Your driving is neither good nor is it bad. If you're such a hot shot & your lap times are that important to you, then go racing or do time attack. I only go on track days for pleasure. I don't even know if we met on track at the National (I've no idea which car is yours) but, I presume we did & you were much quicker than me? If so congratulations! Matt, in this case, the size of your thick bar does matter!

not sure where you got the 2:02 in 2012 from?

did a 1:57.463 in the TA final, if that helps?

As for the VX time, that was in Mike's car (on the same test day I lost my eyebrows in Jamie's), when it was suffering from cutting out with the MAP sensor.
