I'm guessing the Europa has the same hose as the VXT?

Can anyone confirm before I ring podge to order one?

Yep it's number 39 but I would buy off eBay as that's expensive for the price you could get it.

I was thinking of getting an OEM part because it seems to have the 90 deg elbow, which I also need.

I suppose I could go for a silicone vacuum pipe off ebay and try to source the elbow separately. I'm not sure the silicone hoses are up to the job though and might collapse

Do you know the correct ID (and OD)?

I've had a look around and that price actually seems okay (plus podge is normally ~10% cheaper than deroure)

It's £30 from cbsonline

Has anyone on the forum tried using a silicone vacuum hose?

Are they strong enough or are they likley to collapse?

I wouldn't trust silicon hose for that length of run. I used some vacuum hose from the ebay seller that used to do the heater pipe work kits on here, was circa £20, so for the oem part its not much in it

Forgot to reply back to this. This stuff should be fine as its 10mm I/D and a couple of meters should be enough. Should be a lot cheaper then buying from lotus or Vauxhall http://pages.ebay.co...lobalID=EBAY-GB

I've had a look at the related threads, but I can't seem to see how long this hose should be. I was thinking of ordering 4-ish meters to be sure I have enough?
