.... meet up with the girl and dont realise that she is his daughter, in a twist she actually has the crash landed falcon, The bad guy is the other twin, so lukes nephew,

Perhaps a nice "Oldboy" style twist in there, eh? ;)

Ah yes, nostalgia sells.  I'll bet you think these were awesome too.  How much would you pay for one now?

I had one of these as a kid, guess I had a lucky Xmas

Put one of these in front of a 7 year old today and it's the equivalent of putting a hoop and stick in front of me back then lol.

I was a small boy when the originals came out, loved them....hated the last 3.

I went to the Royal Premier at Leicester Square of the original Episode 4. :) Just the sound of the Tie fighters and the Millenium Falcon in the first trailer for this sold me.
Ahh, the sound of a tie fighter in Dolby. Good times.

I've never watched a full Star Wars movie, not sure why? I love Space, I love Sci Fi, I love rocket ships.

Oh maybe I just found the acting crap?

I'm skeptical.  The originals were awesome because of the low budget and everyone pulling together to make it great.  It just worked well.  The remastered versions shitted it up a bit (shows that throwing money at it isn't always best).  The prequals were a bit ropey despite a bigger budget mostly due to the CGI.  I'm not expecting great things from these three (although I will go see them) as they will be massive budget disney specials.  Can't wait for that vomitous disney ending.

I'm hoping because the others new ones were so bad because of CGI that they've moved away from it as much as possible and the trailer does hint at that. Also, with the darker batman/james bond movies doing so well I'm hoping they've made this abit more dark (as much as they can for a kids film) rather than the cuddly jar jar binks crapola.

Well, I went to the Luzern premiere at the imax. I won't spoil it for you all, but will give one little tidbit.

Turns out you can use a lightsaber to light your farts.

That's good to know.  I was worried it'd be a bit 'disney'.

Seeing this next week in Imax. Cannot wait.

Guy in the office tried to tell me the "big spoiler". He said the film's brilliant, though.

Just seen it at iMax Xscape, quality film! The big spoiler was scrawled all over the wipe board in my office, didn't spoil the film in any way!

Saw it last night, was pleased they didn't overload on the cgi and other special effects like they did last time, a lot kept similar to 4,5 and 6 which was a must to follow on from 6....... It was ok....... There is always gonna be that feeling that nothing will live up to the originals but once you get past that I think from here on in they will be received well
