As much as I wish you get your one of a kind vx220 back I doubt this will end well, crooks being crooks means they will soon get greedy and try to sell the car in parts

 

Mint black vxT panels, speedline wheels and a vxr interior are going to stand out like a sore thumb when they try and sell them.

 

This community is too small for them to get away with it, I still remember when some 'nice person' stole a pair of TMS clams - they turned up on ebay and the Police collected them

Would it not be wise if we change the title of the thread?!  My reasoning for this is if anyone comes to the site to try and flog the stolen car parts then they are less likely to notice the 'MY CARS BEEN STOLEN' thread.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

 

The car was about to go back on the road after a long and arduous trail of events that followed the accident including the fight with the insurance company so that I could keep the car, the detective work undertaken by Steve D to trace all the parts needed, in addition to all the hard work he's put in to get the car back to working condition.

 

I dearly want my car back and at the risk of sounding like a petulant teenager (I think I can remember what that felt like!) - it's not fair!

 

I know that the community of VXR owners and lovers will keep an eye out for the car or any bits - thank you.  My optimistic (maybe delusional, fairy-tale loving self) will look forward to posting a happy ending.
