My thoughts exactly when I saw the alloys, I don't think whoever took the car will have much luck selling it or anything VXR from it.

At a guess it's going to be hidden away for a good few years before its spotted.. which it will be one day...hopefully still in one piece Being 1 of 1... even if it's out the UK by now

if they found out what it was and how hot it was before any harm come to it, I suspect I will be hidden under a tarp or cover in a barn in Europe somewhere.

It's probably out in Nigeria by now, been pimped up with 25" gold rims by some power crazed war-lord, with an M50 mounted on the top and a brothel in the boot !

It wouldn't be worth their while keeping it's not worth that much. Sell the normal VX parts and probably burn the rest or sell to dodgy mate.

It's mad to think a car as rare as this can just disappear, it's not like there's a massive spares market for them and in the UK we'd certainly spot someone breaking a black VXR220...

A google search on it, providing the scum didn't know what it was, brings up this page pretty quickly so I suspect they're well aware with how hot it is.

Suspect it will end up being one of the most spectacular barn finds of all time when it does show up.

I don't remember any others having been taken - apart from the one where the chap forgot he'd left it at the tennis club the night before.
