That's what we have done previously. Rail station is only 10mins walk from the hotel and you have the added advantage that, at the weekend, many Amsterdam locals come to Zandvoort for the dayMy wife wants to go to Amsterdam on Saturday to have a look at some old paintings, so have booked another night in the hotel. Easy to get to Amsterdam from Zandvoort by train (about 30 mins), saves all of the trouble of moving hotels. We are not going to Ypres as ferry beck is from Rotterdam, anyone staying saturday in Amsterdam?

Probably to let their dogs sh*t on the beach. That's what happened when I lived in Scheveningen, a few years ago

I don't really remember but pretty sure I would have noticed an sc!
The piston had disintegrated and I just found half a rod with the gudgeon pin still attatched sat on the undertray.

I expected to see more oil splashed around. Conrod was vent with a lot of blueing at the fracture. Oil starvation?I don't really remember but pretty sure I would have noticed an sc! The piston had disintegrated and I just found half a rod with the gudgeon pin still attatched sat on the undertray.

I checkled the dipstick and it was ok. I'm guessing the hole was quite high up the block!
