LoT always do a Spa day and Siztenboots has often attended.

I am not fussed where it is, just that I can go next year.

I will be at Spa in november.

I dropped the VX off at BoT this morning and had a long discussion about future plans for it and TeamVXRacing in 2017 with Jez.

Home.  Very tired.  Nine and half hours door to door via the chunnel.

Fantastic weekend, great track, company, weather etc etc.

Very impressed how the Evora rides so fluidly on the road yet was indomitable on the track.

I'll come to Spa (I'll go anywhere :D ), but I can't see it being a great replacement for Zandvoort.  The hotel next door, the beach over the road and somehow Spa is a little too serious.

You are sounding a little more convinced now than when we spoke at Rockingham

Left Zandvoort at 10am. Home at 6pm. Location 10/10. Company 10/10. Track 11/10. Had a brilliant time. I'll be coming back for more next year.

Thanks for the pax ride - that car was surprisingly good. Despite the Germans refusing to get out of the way..

Home sweet home. Missed a fox that ran out in front of me by the thickness of a hair, 15 miles from home. Not sure which one of us crapped ourselves more but I know who'd have picked up the bill.

:yeahthat:

What a brilliant weekend.

Huge thanks to Mark and Joe for swapping over my shocks and rear pads during lunchtime and then soldering my accelerator sensor wire thing that my rear wheel had decided it was in the way so ripped it in half, it never fails to amaze me at what kind and generous people there are on this forum.  Imnotworthy

Left Zandvoort this morning at 11am local, got home 30mins ago. 2.5hr delay on Eurotunnel thumbsdown JG blagging us into FlexiPlus lane thumbsup Getting a puncture in Zandvoort that necessitated the above thumbsdown thumbsdown Hoping puncture will repair, in fairness I've driven 400miles with a nail in the tyre, at high speed... Losing 4psi/hr on the road. So I'm hoping we can repair it.. Else it's a £250 for a rear tyre. Overall, really good weekend. Really great company, as ever the VX crowd showed its camaraderie and friendship side. Really great bunch of people. For me, I think Spa still edges it, but a great track to tick off my list. I ran the morning with valve closed and short shifting past the noise meter, in the last session I engaged Race mode and left valve open... Blitzed the noise meter at 98db  (88db driveby limit).

MartinS got black flagged for 89 in the morning, fitted his baffle and he was then fine.

Good clear footage Chris! ......also back home, missed ferry as was stuck in traffic jam for 2 plus hours. Oh well still good trip, really enjoyed pax ride in Lee,s car, real eye opener how much corner speed you can obtain with those gt hubs and some serious camber. Good crowd as always will look out for next year's event wherever u decide to go.

Just waiting for the ferry to dock, only an hour from here.

I love Zandvoort.

Quick video of my fastest lap of 2.07:6 I had a theoretical best of 2.06:6 I found it hard to get clear laps so that fastest lap only had 1 of my best sector times. (4 sectors)

I have quite a bit of footage of you all, and of a heron I had to take avoiding action from as it was stood in the middle of the track!
