Thanks for posting that up - interesting to watch my car from behind. It does wriggle mid corner a bit - which ties in with my almost comical constant sawing at the wheel I end up doing when upto speed.. I keep blaming my tyres (which admittedly are 3 years old AD08) but in all honesty is probably just lack of ability. Here's the same session from my footage.. which may be of vague interest to those in it (WrightStuff, Acidpopstar, MartinS) Notice Acidpopstar's satnav/phone or whatever it was fly off the car as we leave pitlane.Great event as always and good to see some fresh blood making the trip after the regulars bigging it up for years!

What a great weekend, lots of driving but so worth it. The track and evenings out were as good as ever with brilliant company.
Ypres overnight on the way home was really good and very glad we did that (top organising Sutol), and the vx mob scrapping in bumper cars after dinner was a laugh (Deirdre is a killer in those).
Brilliant to have Lauren along and follow her going for it on track (though watching her drift on my R1R's she'd borrowed, was a proud but worrying time for a dad!). The hotel there was lovely so it was a shame she spent the night asleep on her bathroom floor!!!!!
My car has now been great all summer and the last 4 trackdays and the love is back, happy days.
Thanks all, for making these trips as special as they are.

ps Will post up the beach hat pictures later.

The journey to Zandvoort on the Thursday from the tunnel ranks as probably the worst I've done in the VX. Well mainly the Belgium section; haven't they heard of drainage ffs. Still when we got there, a few beers later, it was all forgotten and normal service was resumed.
Track day started a bit gloomy and cool but that was probably good for the cars and drivers a like. Had a pax with Scutter and Bargi, which highlighted that I must address the handling of my car as there's seem to be much more pointy than mine which tends to understeer.
Sun came out for the post track discussions in the beach bar though which is now a tradition, as is the hat photo session. This was then followed by a meal and a drinking session that went on to gone 2am
Trip to Ypres was dull but Martin, who was leading the convoy, tried to spice it up by doing a sight seeing tour in Antwerp which reinforced my opinion that it was, in fact, the arsehole of the world, with a traffic system to match.
The hotel in Ypres was excellent, any photos of the Jacuzzi in your room Mandy?? And Lauren any video of the fish sucking on my fingers?? The ceremony at the Menen Gate was very moving, I was quite surprised at how many people were there. Meal at the restaurant was a little disappointing but this was followed by another entertaining drinking session until 2am - there's a trend here. I don't know what time we hit the dodgems in the funfair but it was gone 12 so we were all well oiled, so bumping came remarkably easy! Lauren had one of those, "I'm never going to drink again", nights and now knows most of the population of Ypres.
We went to the Flanders museum the next morning, well expect Lauren, who preferred to stay in the fresh air for some reason. The museum was very cleverly done and worth going to if you get the chance.
Un eventful trip back to the tunnel followed the expected delay but it was only an hour or so. Back in UK and M25 jammed - brilliant!

It would appear I brought several illegal immigrants back from Zandvoort.

Got my videos sorted. Just put together all the bits with other cars in for more than a few seconds.
It starts off following a white Exige
Silver VX (bargi?)
Scutter
Acispopstar
Partridge and Lees Evoras? After getting a slow Porsche out the way.
Yellow German S3 Exige
Another silver vx
Then let the Yellow Exige back past.
Silver vx
Acispopstar
Partridge
Finally George, soo much quicker on the straights, had fuel starvation on the longer lefts so called it a day.
