Joe, your car looks pretty sorted now & appears to handle really well, from what I saw in George's video footage, it rotates nicely & seems planted. Are you happy with your setup now?

Watching all the videos, it always seems that most VX's on track are driven hard, harder than most. Why is that? Does the average Lotus owner, not spend similar money & fettle their cars as much as VX owners do?

i thought i was holding chill and george up a fair bit but judging by that video i think it was doing alright!!

:tt:

Your car looked good all day Joe. Huge improvement over last year! With that 6 speed box and an engine that revs like that it has plenty of straight line performance!

Joe, even if your balls quadrupled in size, we'd still need a magnifying glass to see them! :D

But seriously............they are very small!

NO, Seriously, your car looked pretty sorted. George doesn't drive slow on track, so you weren't hanging around. What black magic did Jez perform on your setup over your last or is it a secret :ninja:

Have you got an footage from inside your car or do we need to get Dave to re-enact the sound your car makes?

Peter, What's the Exige like on track? I had a long chat with two owners recently, one who couldn't praise it enough & the other who found it took away too much with all the driving tech aids. What's your thoughts?  [/quote] Well initially I was a little dissapointed considering it's a 60k car, but having had time to think and see some of the vids people have kindly posted against quite heavily modified cars I, m starting to come around. Remember the car was literally a week or so old so no suspension or Geo adjustments and running road tyres. I think given time with some Geo work, decent tyres and a bit more uumph from the engine she will be pretty quick. Unfortunately it's not a car I, m prepared to throw about in the same way as the vxr was but maybe that's a good thing lol, am certainly loving the attention it brings , oh and the air con is great ha ha.

Wow!!! That sound the dog's! and your car looked very planted on the bendy bits. I loved the way the rev needle swings around to 7k & then just sits there.... Vtec cams sing beautifully!

Peter, Your car looks beautiful from behind on track. I completely understand about you not wanting to thrash it & as you said, all the car's around you are thoroughly fettled & on track rubber.

Nice to hear cliffie as I feel people can forget how great a VX220 NA really is and how much harder we have to push them to its limits on track. P.S Miss you dude
