I took that line, taking it tight to the apex gave a sort of flick/additional rotation. However I saw Julie hugging the rhs wall, a very brave line imo.
True the 'DaveE' wide line gives you very little margin for error, but I always thought his reasoning sound in that straightening off the exit as soon as possible gives more exit speed on the run up the hill.

Interesting...
Not the line into Hugenholtzbocht you would expect.

Same here. (i also do not take vodaphone like that)
May give this a try next time to see if it works for me.

So planning for 2017 Zandy.
Anyone interested in doing Bilster berg back to back , I must admit to feeling to bit road weary having got back from the frolic late last night.
Next year might just do Dijon and a steady tour round Alps. I can't miss Zandy next year.
Starting to run out of european tracks to do, might have to get down to Italy.

Yes Steve if feasible, myself and Sutol talked about it but this year was the worst possible scheduling with BB being the day before.
3 or 4 days gap between the two for a bit of sightseeing along the way would be ideal.

SC cars need not apply. Noise policy there makes Bedford look more relaxed than Spa.
So this is an area where the turbo is clearly superior then ?

Well, we can come if you want. That way when we use up the noise "allowance" going quicker than you, you'll all get kicked off when they shut the circuit down for as long as needed to get back under their daily limit. So this is an area where the turbo is clearly superior then ?SC cars need not apply. Noise policy there makes Bedford look more relaxed than Spa.

There are a few tracks in Italy, Misano, Mugello, Monza.... I'd love to do a track in Italy combined with a holiday.

Yep, was a long day but both tracks were excellent so worth the effort. Plus it was nothing like the milage we normally cover on Frolic!!some of the Scottish guys did the back to back this year, 300 mile drive back to Zandvoort
