He knew exactly at 0.20 when that car in front was going to break.
Interesting take on the Hugenholtz.
May give that a try.
Looks like coasting, but i had a trainer once also pushing me to stay as close to the curb there as possible.

How about a small inventory on how the noise restiction crippeled people, and how much of the fun it took away?
Running spa will be no problem for all noisy boys, but there will be no hotel with a beach next to it.
Choices choices.

With your 2.07 at Zandvoort you are in SC teritory.
Not so sure how much you would loose out on SPA, but yes it's a high speed track with Kemmel and Blanchimont a clear overtaking point.

It didn't really take fun away, as such, but I was very aware that I would be above the limit. In my morning sessions I behaved and then played more and more with valve as day went on. All was fine until my last session when I left valve open and was WOT past the meter... 98dB on driveby. I will happily return tho, the weekend was as much about mates with cars as it was track time. I might look into a dB insert, I think there is scope if I can get a local welding place on side. How about a small inventory on how the noise restiction crippeled people, and how much of the fun it took away?

I had sound troubles there, but if you have them there, you can have them at almost all tracks now so it just needs to be resolved which it is.
I think spa wouldn't be half as much fun as Zandvoort, especially for some of the lower powered cars and lacks all the other things that make that trip always a good one.

hopefully there will be a road trip , it would be nice to meet up at a circuit with a trackday group and make that our start point for the tour. obviously that ties the tour dates down a bit , ideally you would want to go when it is not so daft hot in august, although high up the mountains it is a nice contrast to the hot valleys.
spa would work out better from a logistics, heading in the right direction
spoken to Jez at BoT and he wants to join us and was thinking about bring along a support vehicle
I will probably book up both Spa and Zandy as soon as dates go up
