Bought this one some time ago for my turbo build but fitted the Saab manifold instead so got this one layin' around:

Would I be correct in thinking this is a straight upgrade for the Z22 manifold, any other modifications required (other than an ECU bracket)?

I think you can  get a kit of the bits you need to do this for an NA which includes a dip stick holder plus the ecu bracket

I think the manifold needs a bit of what Edd China calls "fetterling" to fit proper and a 100A altenator is needed to if you don't have one.

Dutch ecu would be able to release the full potential of this + a larger TB

It will fit with a 120 alternator, after a bit of spacing and fettling.... but easier with a 100...... And you can pick the 100 off eBay cheap enough....... Worth doing IMO.... Pulls very hard after 4000 rpm and the noise is nice!

got to say NA tuning is a waste of money 

breaks geo and suspension + driver training on circuit are where the money is best spent 

otherwise your spunking money to look good at the traffic light grand prix 

and lets face it 

any doodah can drive fast in a straight line ....its the corners that separate the men from the boys

Thanx for answering the questons guys. I never fitted a 2.4 manifold so dont really know what else is needed, but seems to be the "no brainer N/A mod". Bought it for the high rev power feature

Agreed........ It's the only thing I've had done, other than exhaust and air filter.... Supercharging I suppose is next port of call
