Sorry but forum rules state that you have to provide a price.

thumbsup  Fair price, i would imagine that sooner or later, these originals are going to rise in price. It looks to be a good one :)

It's only a small point and not really worth mentioning (but then, unfortunately for the rest of the forum, that technicality never seems to stop me lol) but do you have the paperwork and fixing key that originally come with the top?

Good luck with the sale...

Not really. As another poster mentioned, these are quite rare especially unused. Its not going to go down in value in this condition.

Thanks Icey. I have all the bits except for the key and the fitting paperwork. I bought the car new from Vauxhalls in the Merseyside area in 2002. Only just sold the car recently to one of those car buying sites. The negotiations didn't included the hardtop.

You and i, both, bought our cars from new in 2002 (i'm a poet and don't know it..lol).

I hope that you enjoyed your many years of ownership and managed to get a good price.

The key and paperwork and no big thing not to offer in the sale. There is an alum key (or such alike) that fits too and the paperwork is easy enough to get a copy of.

Best regards...

Sorry but as a new owner I have no idea on price for these, im really after a silver or black one. Painting over this one would be a tragedy.

I will keep looking.

Thanks and good luck with the sale
