ET20 Fronts is right as i have a set. They look like they will stick out a long way as your comparing against a 5.5" rim.
See my old posts where TD's are for sale by retailers (VX spec'd), they are ET20.
Oh, for the back ET30 is good.
TD said that those et's would fit. Not sure about none stock brakes. Et 20 sticks 'em out a hell of a long way. A lot of poke.

Thanks Mazzy So for those who are interested in the Grids the sizes look best as follows: Front: 17x7.5 et20 Rear: 17x8.5 et30 I'll get a message out tomorrow to all those interested in the Grids to see if all happy with sizes and colour. And hopefully get on to placing order. Thanks
ET 30x8.5? It's not just about ET, tyre size need to be factored in to the calculation. Do you need a rim that wide for the largest tyre you're going to be able to fit without serious rubbing issues?

Folling confirmation from Rota here's the final group buy offer.
Rota Grids
Colour - Bronze
Front - 7.5j x 17 et20
Rear - 8.5j x17 et30
£565 delivered per set
1. leevx2.2 2. leevx2.2 3. Mazzy 4. retry 5. ChrisS1
Timescale - 2 to 3 months depending on when we order (new orders are placed at the beginning of the month so if this is missed, it will have to wait until the following month).
10% deposit required (paid to Rota) prior to order being placed, balance paid prior to dispatch.
It would be good to get the deposits paid this month so we don't miss the April order date.

I've got et 30 and 8.5j wide rims on my speedster with a 245/40/17 streettyre (no semi) with LSS suspension (slightly lower than oem) . The tyres do not rub with me.
Maybe i'm just Lucky because every speedster/vx is not the same....

When using a SEMI SLICK, do not use a 245 /40 tyre. Those WILL rub!
Think 235/40 is max. for a SEMI to use.
A 235/45 semi, i Do'nt know on a 8.5j rim
