He's obviously got the skills to fix it if anything does happen so I'm sure it'll get suitable abuse.

Fits! It's about 2mm out of square measured against the rollbar, but i think that's the rollbar, not the windscreen... rollbar still needs the rear supports to go in to square it up properly. it's pretty damn good as it is tho! :)

New page, new list... Small fiddly stuff to do first: - retrace the ABS (FL) and DRB (RR) cutout wires, and mark the switches (memory is failing) - rerun thermostat sensor wire down the sill to the back of the car - rewire new relay and rerun run fan control wires down the sill to the back of the car - rewire a new rad fan override switch/relay/loom - replace one dodgy dash switch - refit the heater control panel and heater piping/valve assembly. set the cable in final position - wire up and finish installing the 6sp reverse lockout mechanism - pull the shifter and handbrake cables through the chassis in preperation for the engine/gearbox install - replace the airbag and pretensioner control module (bought a new one as itll suck to find the one ive got doesnt work once other sh*t is finished) - mount new driver seat mounts and enjoy the newfound legroom - set rivnuts in the floor for the shifter assembly and reinforce the fcuking flex thing Medium sized fuckaround stuff: - Swap the ABS control module for the 4chan Deawoo one I got (S108196010 C) - Bend up new brake cross-over hardlines and fit to the ABS pump - mount the brake fluid reservoir and hoses to the master cyl - Finish the fueltank/pump wiring and speedflow hose assembly, and remount the tank - Finish the speedflow lines to the 044 and surgetank Large stuff that i need to do properly: - Fit and bond new crashbox - Fit and bond new windscreen surround - Jig up and reweld the hardtop mounts to the rollbar - design and make a new rear Firewall section to enclose the W2A intercooler core - design and make the W2A core mounting brackets - reweld the W2A core water fittings to suit 25mm ID hose - design and make new rear roll-hoop support stays / rear clam support - design and make new harness bar when thats done... get the goddamn motor in... - flywheel is in production at TTV and due for completion on the 4-5/09 - need to mount a new clutch slave cyl to avoid that sinking feeling of a leaking clutch once all assembled - i busted the reverse switch on the box off. oops - need to get me some reinforced motor mount bushes - intake pipework - exhaust pipework

lol... of what? theres nothing that interesting (yet!) just a semi dis-/reassembled chassis. ill roll it out into the sun for some proper pics for you though, ok :) meanwhile, discovered last night that my aluminium welding skills suck massive bags of dicks. think ill be outsourcing that also confirmed that my flywheel and clutch will be done on tuesday, so should see that end of the week/beginning of the next. need to get the intercooler in, then engine!

Pretty much using 12.9 SHC's everywhere... except the rear upper wishbone fasteners, they suck to get anything other than a 12pt ring spanner onto

'easy-way-out' RHD-LHD brake system conversion.

Master cyl now LHS, kept the ABS block on the RHS. Could've organised/made the bits required to move the ABS also to the LHS but honestly, I figured the weight of the block on the opposite side to the driver isn't a bad idea, so left it there and just made new hardlines. Hard to make them look good, but got it good enough

Did you install a new master cylinder or a second hand one? The reason I mention it is I think some of the original VX ones are getting a bit tired by now.
