Hello, this thread is for people who have a VX220/Speedster to register it on the list, also for people to access the list and get the current or past owners from.

 

According to the list *6267 chads4 UK moonland grey VXT EZ ?/05

 

chads4 is the current owner but that was 13 years ago so could of changed hands, I would tell you to search for 6267 in the search box but it comes back with an error for every search I do (not sure if it's an issue with my browser or the forum)  You could also try messaging chads4 his profile link is: http://www.vx220.org...er/2166-chads4/ But it says they have not been on the forum since 2007 but click on his posts or topic links on the side it might give you some information regarding the car your looking at but all information will be about 10 years old

Wow, interesting.  The car is registered in Germany with only 31k miles on the clock and as an 03 not 05.  it is grey though. Can the VIN tell me the build year?

Sorry mate only just noticed your post, there seems to be error's on the list, something to do with some editions of Speedsters that had a build number which was not the VIN, so the list has got very mixed up as there was someone maintaining it for a long time before I stepped in.  You probably can't figure out the year by the VIN, mine is *3118 and it was a 2002, I have part on my car made in 2000 and 2001, but no idea when it was assembled.

Turbo is a new addition - track only currently. Got to add my N/A to the VIN list, but keep forgetting to make a note of the VIN number!

I am new here, I have bought an VX220T from Germany with VIN 6267 moonland grey, I have found this forum by searching information about my "new" car!!!

I found out user chads4 was the owner in u.k. before it was selling to Germany?

Now I am the new owner, bought from Germany transfered to Austria!

I am very interested on the history of my vx, can anyone tell me more about xv - 6267 ?
