Well done. The waiting game has paid off. Sounds perfect indeed! How's the factory paint protection holding up? It's the one thing that lets the otherwise perfect bodywork down on mine.
Its pretty much perfect. its had front armourfend half way up the bonnet from new which has held up well in terms of adhesion. The armourfend across the car has just started to take on a slightly hello hue, but it not as bad as i thought it would be.
There is a small chip around the front badge which will need to be fixed where it looks like someone has tried to get the badge off.
Overall it needs a jolly good clean.
Its just had a new clutch (completed last week), again after it was done in october with a new gearbox but resulted in an oil leak. there is still a faint whiff of hot oil about it. I'm sure its fine, first day nerves i think. i might have the under trays off for a quick clean look later.
its an utter joy to drive, and every bit as fast as a supercharged vx (or be it in different places), which i'm sure if i look back at previous posts wasn't my initial conclusions.

Looks to be the ideal spec that you have been waiting for👍 No doubt the next few weeks will be a mixture of fiddling and driving😄😄In other words. Perfect. And you missed lotus sport back box. (Well it will be when the forged wheels go on)

it was the colour combination and specification i wanted all along. I had to make no compromise other than i would have probably chosen a slightly newer one given the choice. This one is around 50th off the line (apparently), one of the last launch editions and we think the only one with CR box.
It also comes with every single receipt, document, mot, invitation to launch events, special london motorshow book and so on and so on. In all £70k of receipts. I was reluctant for a private purchase, but in the end the person i bought it from was very kind and the experience was far better than dealing with the dealers. time will tell i guess as to whether or not i made the right decision but i've no buyers remorse.
