Personally, don't see anything wrong with the wheels, however because the rear flared arch actually extends the amount of material from the top of the wheel arch to the top of the body, it makes the car look less low to the ground than standard.

not updated this for a while but have been making progress!

made some arch splats, didnt get many pictures but here are the few i got:-

it started with masking up and drawing guide of wot i was wanting

Posted Image

this was fibreglassed up

Posted Image

filled with expanding foam and then trimmed to shape once it had set

Posted Image

fibreglassed over the foam

Posted Image

skimmed with filler and shapped

Posted Image

they were then painted to match wheels etc and fitted

Posted Image

one from the rear

Posted Image

one with the roof off also! sorry it was starting to get dark when i took pics

you have probabilly noticed that the exige spoiler has gone back onto the car, i just felt it needed something and the whole car is ott so may aswell have ott spoiler to match!

the car came with a sub and box behind the seat, but i felt it needed some tweaking to improve things, you could feel the box had flex in it so once a sub was gonna start working this was never gonna make the most of the sub!

so i added 3-4 layers of fibreglass inside the box so i could stand on it and it did not flex, also built the box out 12mm to be able to mount a deeper sub in the box! it then skimmed the front of the box with filler and smoothed

Posted Image

i then painted it to match the wheels etc,

this is how it sits now, i need to fit new rear speakers and have different amplifier coming cos the one in it is not powerfull enough to run the sub, ran new cabling to the amplifier also!

Top work they look great. Still think it would look better +10mm ride hight but you have transformed the car 👍

Looking good. I'd agree with raising the ride height slightly and painting the oil cap black. I think it'd be worth painting the coil pack cover black too. Top work. Looks loads better.

Last engine bay I did black spark plug cover and coloured pipe work, so thought I would do this one a little different. I quite like whole rocker cover being orange with plug cover and oil cap matching but everyone has different preferences

It looks much better with the rear arch spats fitted.

Still a bit too extreme for me though.
