Although it seems to be the same group that were solid ukip at the last election and walking proudly into the voting offices with their pens today.

Sometimes I'm glad this work proxy blocks images...

 

I'm pretty sure the pencils used are wax based so can't really be erased and stand up to water damage better or some carry on. Don't really get the pen thing. As if anyone is going to individually change ballot papers. They'd just swap boxes or lie on the counts. The counts are pretty robust though. I was a Polling agent for the SNP at council by election then the GE in 2015. The process is pretty robust but it's not faultless.
