All this Brexit support from political figures elsewhere in Europe, makes you feel warm and fuzzy, doesn't it? http://www.bbc.co.uk...europe-36615879

Yup, from all the doodahs you don't really want support from..

Still slightly in disbelief at this decision, prob sing in later tonight after some European beer..

WHY WERE SO MANY NUMPTIES GIVEN THE RIGHT TO VOTE. REALLY STUPID PEOPLE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA APART FROM BACKWARD THINKING, OLD FASHIONED, YESTERYEAR VIEWS. WE HAVE LET DOWN OUR COUNTRY, OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS, BUSINESSES & BADLY WEAKENED A UNITED EUROPE.   ...I'M SURE PUTIN WILL BE DANCING BARE CHESTED TODAY ON HIS TABLE WAVING GUNS IN EACH HAND....

Sorry Max can't agree with you on that statement , that's how democracy works I am afraid. Dangerous ground to only allow people with your( not you personally) views a vote. Just hope the country makes the best of the position the county is in now

£ - $ back up to 1.39, FTSE back up above what it was. Shall I bother with the MOT I have today if the world is still going to end?

Don't get me wrong Nick, I have absolutely no issues with informed people voting out. However, there was a large number, who's comments on why they want to exit were pretty simplistic, generic & without any real consideration to our future economy. Many hark back to 'the old days, we were once great, taking back control on our own'. This should have been a decision on this countries economic future with more emphasis on integration with us taking a lead role in the world, not going it alone & isolating ourselves.

Can't believe Spain would really want the sh!t hole that is Gib back. Must have been a lovely place 50 or 60 years ago, now it's just wall to wall English breakfasts, fish and chip shops and roast dinners. It would be Great Yarmouth except for the sun and the lack of pound shops. Still an amazing sight, from a distance.

If Spain got it back they would get rid of the British looks haha. Although they can definitely have the monkeys. You can see why they want it though with its airport, port and at the narrowest point into the med. It is a very good asset for us. Ties in nicely to Cyprus at th other end of the med.

Speaking to reporters on Friday morning, Mr Weber criticised the decision for Britain to leave but added: On the Scottish level: to go the other way, it is up to them. Europe is open to new member states, that is totally clear. Those who want to stay are welcome in the European Union.

Oh, no doubting the strategic value of it. Little surreal walking across the main runway to get in.

Yes that is slightly bizzar especially given the FOD clearances of other runways yet that is open to the public. Hopefully the cigarettes and booze are still incredibly cheap!
