What's done is done, we have to respect democracy including the right to be ignorant, to not be bothered to vote or to be highly informed and then vote one way or the other. I personally preferred to stay in but, however close, that is not what the nation has decided. There is no point being bitter or protesting. We all have to live with this decision, complaining achieves nothing nor does saying 'told you so' when the pound crashes or any other seemingly bad event that could be linked to the decision. I'm a little concerned of what the future holds for Britain and for Europe. The only true way now in Britain is to move forwards, in unity. I hope we pull together in Britain to make the best of this new reality and it if pays off then to be humble and gracious to us and our neighbours.

This is a must The educated people of the country will already of worked this out I'm sure The good news is I've just woke up after being up all night working and my wages still went in the bank And the sun will also set tonight to It did go the way I voted if it didn't I would of carried on regardless I'm sure the rest of the country feel the same win or lose It was very close so there is a lot for this country to now go through but we will adapt "THINK AS ONE, THINKFoRWARD" We will be strong again

I got stuck in a traffic jam on the way home from work today. I think it's because we voted to leave the eu.

.

....I woke up and thought the world had ended, thoughts of people throwing themselves off the nearest cliff or onto the rail tracks..

then I went about my business.. (all true and not made up)

...in my French car..

..went to my local Italian deli, where I was served by the ever so sweet Polish lass..

..I poped over the road to have my hair cut by my bormal Spanish guy..

..then I went to the mobile shop where the Latvian lady was extremely helpful..

from there I went to the Post Office. the Scottish guy actually showed me how to send a parcel cheaper and quicker.

on the way home I stopped and filled up, the fuel was the same price as last week and the N Irish lassie all grins ..she was off on holiday to Greece I think

Not one of them had a downer, not one of them talked about the voteing

...unlike alot of fecking moaners....they are getting on with life.....not one of them was going to put a gun to their head...what is it with the British...

..today is the start of the rest of your life, we are only here for a short while..tomorrow may be your last..make the fecking most of it

..and as some people have said before "THE END".

.... but I will keep to my word  :)... see some of you at the National, Bruntingthorpe, Tyrol Weekend, Lotus Brands Hatch day, The Hoon... or just pop round to my place for drink...Chateux Hornet is always open..

First the questioning why Russia where in the football tournament and now this. You do know the European Union and Europe are completely different and not readily interchangeable when being talked about? The amount of people I have heard today say that we have left Europe is staggering, unless our little island has magically floated west over night no we haven't you thick twats.

WHY WERE SO MANY NUMPTIES GIVEN THE RIGHT TO VOTE. REALLY STUPID PEOPLE WITH ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA APART FROM BACKWARD THINKING, OLD FASHIONED, YESTERYEAR VIEWS. WE HAVE LET DOWN OUR COUNTRY, OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS, BUSINESSES & BADLY WEAKENED A UNITED EUROPE.   ...I'M SURE PUTIN WILL BE DANCING BARE CHESTED TODAY ON HIS TABLE WAVING GUNS IN EACH HAND....

Are you implying that 52% of the country (the majority of people) are really stupid and backward looking? If that's the case then I'd suggest that it's not the rest of the country who those accusations should be aimed at.. Statistically speaking, there must be millions of very intelligent people that considered the pros and cons of the debate for both their own personal situation and that the of the country and decided that on balance, leave was the right option. Have you stopped to consider why they made that choice? If you can only see your side of the argument, then I would suggest that you're as narrow minded and I'll informed as the idiots that you speak of but with a different outlook on life. To fully make a decision I'd suggest you need to actively look at the choice from multiple points of view and try not be blinded by individual opinions. There's something that really grates me about the 'remain voters are more informed and intelligent than leave'. My assumption is that the EU benefits the middle/upper class most and it's these people that will quite happily look down on the poor peasants and tell them to get in line and do as they're told as it's for their own good, when in fact they're just protecting their own best interests. Maybe, just maybe the leave choice was the right one for the majority of people?

You should have a look on SELCOCK. Loads of late 20s/early30s middle class office boy pseudo super car owners all throwing their toys out of the pram and stamping their feet. Its great entertainment :D

Did a straw pole at work. Not one of the leave lot could tell me what a trade tariff was. No problem with anyone that makes an effort to inform themselves, does an assessment based on risks / benefits and votes accordingly, but I genuinely feel there were more than enough leave voters that didn't do this to swing the vote. Oh well, they give you lemons (and by fcuk this is a lemon), you make lemonade.
