Lies were told by both sides

Absolutely false.

There are multiple investigations, some criminal into Vote Leave, BeLeave, LeaveEU and Arron Banks.

None into Remain.
Because they lost. So no one on the otger side cares so much. Don't be so dumb 😂🤣😂🤣

Feel free to highlight any lies from the remain camp.

Didn't JC say he was going to 'deal with' student debt. I'm sure there was some back peddling on the promise of no more debt to get votes and then saying he'd look into it and then nothing. He did it on a stage as well so quite publicly. Once the media had put their spin on it I think there was reference to 'writing off all student debt'.

Actually, my mistake. That was for the general election not the brexit vote.

Junker 15/1: “I urge the United Kingdom to clarify its intentions as soon as possible.”

UK Parliament 29/1: “MPs have backed seeking "alternative arrangements" to replace the Irish backstop in Theresa May's Brexit plan.”

Tusk 29/1: “The backstop is part of the Withdrawal Agreement, and the Withdrawal Agreement is not open for renegotiation.”

This is what it means to be part of the EU and serves as a useful demonstration of how we are (un)able to influence it from the inside.

It deeply saddens me that the EU has come to this, we’ve tried and tried to be heard over the years but it’s time to leave now and the sooner the better.

I'll start with an easy one. Alan Johnson, a Remain MP falsely claimed that two thirds of manufacturing jobs would be lost as they were dependent on EU membership. The real figure that MIGHT be affected is actually 400% less at 15%.

I could give more but you were categoric there were none ergo your argument is broken. QED as they say.

So long as you ignore the growing anti Eu movements in Germany, France, Poland and Italy etc etc

Just because "they" are united doesnt make it right.

quite easy for them ( EU Commission: the EU’s executive body) , as the Commission President and the individual Commissioners are not elected by the peoples of Europe and so not answerable to anybody.

Solid, united...about to start frantic arguments about how the feck they are going to plug our funding gap. That will be a bigger issue for them than Brexit itself.

I'm sure the commissioners are not worried , just laughing all the way to the bank

Salaries. A Commissioner's basic monthly salary is fixed at 112.5% of the top civil service grade. This works out at €22,367.04 per month. The President is paid at 138% (€27,436.90 per month), Vice-Presidents at 125% (€24,852.26 per month) and the High Representative at 130% (€25,846.35 per month).

Yeah, but think about the value 😂🤣

Also to say the EU united is just nuts. Open your eyes and look at in the whole and you will see it is a veneer. The divisions are a writhing pit of fire below with ALL of the 27 are vying for power and concessions everywhere.

Agreed. It's just no human nature.

One thing they have been good at is allowing their delegation to just crack on with the negotiation which is what we should have done.

The Conservative party as usual are the cancer of this country. They got their Brexit and then they still insist on fcuking it up because it's not the right type of Brexit and they could line up Boris for the top job using it as leverage at the expense of all of us.

Boris/Rees Mogg/Corbyn their careers are all completely finished over their conduct on this they just don't realise it yet. After the agreement is sorted we need a total purge in UK politics on all sides.

Agreed although I can't see there ever being a total purge. The system is too ingrained. Change will only come about after a slow evolution and not for another couple of generations I'd imagine.

Looks like the EU will do perfectly well without us.
