So just so I get it right I summarize 1. Open door. 2. Shut door. 3. Start engine. 4. Go to garage. 5. Drink coffee(whilst they have the sh*t job.) 6. Car is now not like a mobile swimming pool. :D

so from what I am reading from the thread....you only have to remove the middle silver trim to access the ecentric.....

does that mean you dont have to take the whole door trim off?

in MY experience, removing the silver flimsy part is a real bitch and gets easily bent/broken, while undoing the panels is much easier.

beware Long rant long post :flame: :9mm: I droped off the car to the local garage (toomeys) to have the new seals put on, when i collected the car, the gap on the passenger side window was even wider then before and plus there was a gap on the passenger side as well. I went back in to :flame: some one but was told the specialist had left and to come back the next day for them to check it. Went back the next day, specialist came out to the car (after waiting bout 15mins) and said "yeah, the seals are fine, its the doors that need to be alligned" (cant spell i know) I thought OK I give up with you lot, it was booked in for the weekend to get the doors done at pomphreys (where i bought it) went to pomphreys, no problems, very helpfull, got chatting to a asian guy (think he was there after sales manager) I told him about the run around and he really couldent understand why my local dealer wanted to charge? As for the windows, no more leaks/gaps. Only one prob, the new seals HAVE been put on incorrectly as are quite difficult to wind up when doors are shut (drivers side looks like its catching on some thing as it goes up?) As the seals where put on by toomeys, i will have to take it back there for them to sort. WTF I should of left the soft top on. Sorry for the long post. chinky chinky for listening :grouphug:

Do you have to take the silver section off or the whole inner door stuff. Any tips how to do this without breaking the panels? Martin s
