Hi, have owned my vx for about 12 months and loving almost every moment. I am having a problem with throttle response - get up to temperature and usually all fine but every now and then it repeatedly cuts out whilst accelerating hard in second, sort of bunny hops (and no not my driving!). When driven for a while - 30 mins or so - the throttle response can get really slow so that I can press the accelerater and nothing happens for half a second and then the revs build more slowly than the wife's 3008. Could do with someone in the area with a bit of experience to talk to. I am about 12 miles north of Bristol...

If it's a Turbo I'll bet it's either the coil pack or the AMM

If it's a NA then ignore the above.

EGR if it's an NA, or coil pack again.

Thanks both. The coil pack was supposedly replaced just before I bought it but I'll get it checked. Are there any garages people can recommend north of Bristol? What is the AMM? PS yes it is a turbo.

I usually go to Neil Garner near Malmesbury.

Alternatively, Bayliss in Cheltenham have a technician who is trained on VX220s that some people use.
